Victoria Vonderheyden is a multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the Academy of Art University with a BA in Fine Arts, specializing in Painting and Drawing. While she has always identified as a painter at heart, she found that working within a single medium limited the evolution of her artistic expression.

Seeking a broader creative language, she began experimenting with a range of materials, including metals, resin, clay, and foraged elements.

The discovery of sculpture; an expansive, tactile, and instinctive process - became a turning point in her practice. During the pandemic, she fully immersed herself in the medium, finding a profound sense of grounding and activation.

She is now primarily focused on sculpting figurative ceramics, using the human form as a vessel to explore themes of empowerment, femininity, and transformation. Her work balances function and ornamentation, often incorporating intricate hand-built details that evoke both modernity and ancient forms.
